Bluecode is an independent European payment system for mobile payments.

At its core is a unique European approach:
Bluecode is account-based - without credit or debit cards and independent of classic card systems. Payments are settled directly via bank accounts or balance - according to European standards and within a European framework. This keeps data, value creation, and control in Europe.

Technically, Bluecode is designed as a standalone system: interoperable by design and compatible with international networks such as Alipay+ or Discover Network - without depending on them.

This creates a system that combines two things:
global usability and European sovereignty.

Bluecode can be used directly through the Bluecode App or integrated as technology in partner apps - from banking apps to loyalty and merchant solutions.

Paying with the Bluecode app is free for users.

You can pay at all Bluecode and Alipay+ acceptance points.

Bluecode partners with payment systems around the world to enable global acceptance. All transactions are processed in Europe – always in line with European security and data protection standards.

You can use Bluecode to make payments in many countries in Europe, Asia, North America and South America. The Bluecode acceptance network is growing continuously. You can find the countries currently available on our website or directly in the app.

No. You don’t need a credit or debit card to use Bluecode.

Bluecode is account-based: you either connect your bank account through a partner bank or use a prepaid balance.

If your bank is a Bluecode partner, you can connect your account directly.

To use all features without restrictions, we recommend setting up a Bluecode Balance account, which you can easily create in the app.
