Handyparken by Bluecode is a feature in the Bluecode app that allows you to buy digital parking tickets via your mobile phone – no parking meter or cash required. You book your parking time directly in the app and pay conveniently from your bank account or using your credit balance.

Mobile parking by Bluecode offers several advantages compared to other providers:

• No service fees
You only pay for the regular parking ticket – there are no additional fees per parking session.

• No minimum balance
You decide how much credit you want to top up. There is no mandatory minimum amount.

• Automatic invoice for each parking session
An invoice is automatically created in the app for every parking ticket. Practical if you want to submit or settle parking costs later.

• No additional parking app needed
You can use the feature directly in the Bluecode App – and use the same app for mobile payments in everyday life.

• Also available in GEM2GO
Mobile parking by Bluecode is also available in the municipal app GEM2GO. This allows you to book parking tickets directly where you also access information and services from your municipality.

No – with Handyparken by Bluecode, you don’t need to top up a minimum balance. You can either link your bank account from a Bluecode partner bank directly or top up your balance – with no minimum amount required.

If there is no physical ticket in the vehicle, the parking authorities will check your license plate. This allows them to verify whether you have purchased a ticket.

Handyparken by Bluecode is currently available in Vienna, Gmunden, Steyr and Korneuburg. More cities to follow!
